洋一は放送大学副学長として、今までになく忙しい毎日を送っております。澄子は甲斐駒ヶ岳、仙丈ヶ岳、立山、劔岳などと百名山の73/100 を達成しました。

Merry Christmas and

A Happy New Year

Yoichi became a Vice President of the Open University of Japan, formerly the University of the Air. He was asked to promote Information & Communication Technology especially in the field of education, along with various businesses concerning education and broadcasting.

Sumiko completed 73 mountains among a Hundred Mountains in Japan. We had lots of travels. This year, we visited Iguazu Fall, Machu Picchu and Nasca in South America, Jiu Zhai Guo and Huang Long in China, and Huang Shan in China, where we visited with several superconductive researchers.

This September, our daughter Harumi had a baby, who was our first grandson.

All of us are healthy and active for everything.  We also wish you and your family a Merry Christmas and a happy new year.
