Last May, Yoichi’s father passed away at the age of 96. He was a professor of electronic engineering, and engaged in millimeter wave generation. Yoichi had lots of influence from him, and also became a professor of electronic engineering.
Yoichi felt that sole or separate learning environment of students of Open and Distance Education is rather severe problem. Then he personally tested Facebook, and had a very good result. The number of members of this virtual campus became already more than 800 and, he could communicate directly with students.
Sumiko was not so clearly recovered from articular rheumatism, but could enjoy travelling. This year, she visited Rome and Venice with Yoichi last July, and fascinated by historical monuments, arts, and etc.
All of us are healthy and active for everything. We also wish you and your family a prosperous new year.
